Buffalo Milk Paneer is a fresh, soft Indian cottage cheese traditionally prepared by curdling rich buffalo milk and pressing the curds into a firm block. It has a creamy white colour, rich milky taste and firm yet soft texture, making it suitable for dishes such as paneer curry, butter masala, tikka, bhurji and stir-fries. Buffalo-milk paneer generally has a firmer texture than cow-milk paneer.
Made from fresh buffalo milk Fresh paneer should have a clean milky aroma and white/cream colour Texture should be soft, moist and firm, without excessive dryness or sliminess Keep refrigerated at 0–4°C and maintain the cold chain during delivery For best taste and texture, consume soon after opening; follow the use-by date on the package Do not consume if there is an unusual sour/off smell, discoloration or slimy surface.
